AI Demo

A live AI prototype, built on your workflow, run in your room.

Half a day with your leadership team or board, watching a working AI prototype run against something your organisation actually does. The point is not theatre, the point is to let the people in the room form their own view from real evidence on real data.

Overview

The shortest path from “we should look at AI” to an informed decision.

Most leadership teams have sat through a vendor pitch or a conference keynote about AI. Very few have watched a working AI tool run on something their own organisation actually does. The AI Demo closes that gap in half a day, on your data, in front of the people whose decisions depend on understanding it.

We build the prototype before the session, it is real software, not a recorded clip. In the room we run it live, take questions, and write up a debrief that the people who were there can hand to the people who were not. The deliverable is not the demo itself; it is the room’s ability to make the next decision.

What you get

Three concrete things, in your hands by the end of the day.

No follow-up pitches, no upsell decks. Everything below is included in the fixed price.

01

Working prototype

Real software built on a sample of your data, running the workflow you chose. Yours to keep, re-run, and share internally. Not production-grade, and we say so plainly, but real.

02

Live session

Half a day with your leadership team or board. We run the prototype, answer questions live, and walk through what is and is not realistic to expect from this class of tool in the next twelve months.

03

Written debrief

A short document covering what the demo showed, what it did not, the honest cost range for taking the workflow into production, and what we would do next if we were you.

When this fits

Four signs the AI Demo is the right shape.

Your board is asking the question

Someone at the board or executive level has asked what AI means for the organisation, and the answer cannot be a memo. The people who need to form a view need to see one working on something familiar. A demo gives them that without committing to a build.

You have a specific workflow in mind

There is one process, document type, or recurring decision that keeps coming up when AI is mentioned internally. You want to know, concretely, on your data, whether AI helps it or not. A demo is built around exactly one workflow, which is why it can be honest about that one.

You want evidence, not a vendor pitch

You have already sat through enough sales decks. What you have not had is a session where an independent party runs a working tool on your inputs and tells you what they actually see. That is what this engagement delivers, and that is all it delivers.

The decision has a budget attached

A meaningful AI investment is on the table for the next budget cycle, and the people approving it need to understand the technology before they vote. A demo timed two to four weeks before that decision is usually money well spent.

Why us

Three differentiators specific to how we run a demo.

A

Built, not narrated

The prototype is real code we wrote against your data before the session. We do not screen-share a vendor product and call it a demo. If we cannot build it, we tell you on the intake call.

B

Honest on limits

Half the value of the session is the part where we explain what the prototype cannot do, and what would not improve with a bigger budget. That is the part most demos skip.

C

No follow-on attached

The price covers the demo, the prototype, and the debrief. We do not show up hoping to pitch a six-figure build at the end. If a build makes sense, you will hear about it in the debrief, in writing.

How it runs

Four steps, two to four weeks end to end.

The prototype build is the longest part. The session itself is half a day.

Intake call

A short free call to understand who will be in the room, what they already think about AI, and which workflow we should build the demo around. We finish the call with a one-line description of what the demo will show.

Workflow selection

You pick one specific workflow, a document type, a recurring decision, a manual handoff. We confirm we can build something meaningful around it. If we cannot, we say so on this call and refund nothing because nothing has been billed yet.

Prototype build

We build a working prototype on your data, in private. Usually a week of elapsed time. The prototype is real software running against real inputs, not a slide deck, not a video, not a vendor screen-share.

Live session and debrief

Half a day with your leadership team or board. We run the prototype live, answer questions on the spot, and leave you a written debrief covering what worked, what did not, and what the honest next move is.

Common questions

Frequently asked questions about the AI Demo.

Does the prototype keep working after the session?

Yes. The working prototype is yours. You can re-run it yourselves on new inputs, share it internally, and pull it back up in the next board meeting. It is not production software and we say so explicitly, but it is real code on your real data.

Do you need access to sensitive or production data?

Usually not. A representative sample of the workflow is enough, a folder of redacted documents, a copy of a spreadsheet, a few real-but-anonymised records. If the demo only works on live production data, we will tell you on the intake call and you can decide whether that is acceptable.

Can we use the demo to pitch a budget to our board?

That is one of the most common reasons people book it. The written debrief is structured so a finance lead or board member can read it without us in the room. If it helps, we will join the budget conversation as a follow-up, but that is a separate engagement, priced separately.

What if the demo shows AI does not help our workflow?

Then the debrief says so and we tell you plainly. That is a useful outcome, knowing where AI is not the right tool saves you the cost of a build that would have disappointed. We have delivered demos that ended with a recommendation to not proceed, and we stand behind those just as firmly as the ones that led to a build.

Who should be in the room?

The people who would actually approve a follow-on investment in AI. Usually the executive team, sometimes the board, occasionally a department head with budget. We cap the room at twelve, beyond that the live Q&A stops working and it turns into a presentation, which is not what you are paying for.

Have a board meeting or leadership offsite on the calendar?

Tell us the date and the workflow you have in mind. We will tell you whether a demo fits the window and what it would cost.
