Hire an AI Speaker

A keynote, panel seat, or fireside chat tailored to your event.

In person or remote, sized to the slot you have on the agenda. We talk honestly about what AI is currently good at and what it is currently bad at, which is usually the talk the audience has not heard yet. Travel within Ontario and southeast Michigan is included.

Overview

A speaker who has actually shipped the thing they are talking about.

The AI speaking circuit is crowded with people who deliver the same talk every week. The talks are usually well-rehearsed and largely interchangeable. What audiences struggle to find is a speaker who has actually built and delivered AI work for paying clients, and who will say plainly which parts are oversold.

We take a limited number of speaking engagements each quarter so the prep stays real. Every talk is shaped to the event theme, the audience seniority, and the question the organiser actually wants the room to leave with. If we cannot deliver a talk that fits the event honestly, we say so on the intake call.

What you get

Three things at the fixed per-event fee.

Travel within Ontario and southeast Michigan is in the fee. Nothing else is charged separately.

01

The session itself

A keynote, panel seat, or fireside chat, in person or remote, delivered at the agreed slot. We arrive early, do the tech check, and stay for the hallway conversation after.

02

Tailored content

Slides and talking points built specifically for your event theme and audience seniority. Not a stock deck with the conference logo on the title slide. The angle is agreed with you before any slides exist.

03

Materials after

Slides and speaker notes shared with the organisers within two business days. Reuse internally as needed. We do not retain anything that the event chooses to keep private.

When this fits

Four signs a speaking engagement is the right shape.

You have an event with a slot to fill

A conference, industry association meeting, partner summit, or annual customer day, something that already exists on the calendar with its own agenda. You need a speaker who fits the slot, not a custom production wrapped around them. That is what this engagement delivers.

The audience expects an outside voice

An internal speaker will get polite applause. An outside speaker who has built the work being discussed will get questions and an actual conversation afterward. If you want the second outcome, hiring in makes sense.

The theme needs an honest treatment

Your event is on AI, or has an AI track, and you do not want the talk that hand-waves over the failure modes. We deliver the version that names what AI is currently bad at, politely, with examples, which is usually the talk the audience has not yet been given.

You want a clean booking process

Fixed fee, named in writing, travel included within our region. No riders, no green-room demands, no agent calls. We respond to event organisers within one business day and confirm or decline on the intake call.

Why us

Three reasons to hire us instead of the usual circuit.

A

Practitioner, not pundit

We deliver client AI work the rest of the week. The talk reflects what we actually see when the systems hit real data, real users, and real budgets, not what we read in last week's industry report.

B

Cross-border perspective

Based in Windsor and working across the Detroit border, we speak credibly to both Canadian and US audiences. Manufacturing, professional services, mid-market software, the contexts we work in show up in the talk.

C

No sales from the stage

The fee is the entire commercial relationship. We do not pitch follow-on engagements from the stage, we do not collect attendee contacts, and we do not push the audience toward our services. The talk is the deliverable.

How it runs

Four steps, six to twelve weeks lead time preferred.

Shorter windows are possible for panels and fireside formats. Keynotes need the full lead time to be done properly.

Intake call

A short free call to understand the event, the audience, the venue, the slot length, who else is on the bill. We finish with a recommendation on format (keynote, panel, fireside) and confirm we are the right speaker for it.

Theme alignment

We work with you and the event programmer to find the angle that fits the day. We will not duplicate a talk already on the agenda, and we will not deliver a stock keynote with the conference theme glued onto the opening slide.

Preparation

We build the talk, rehearse the timing to the second, and prepare for likely audience questions specific to the sector at the event. For panel and fireside formats we coordinate with the moderator on the question list ahead of the session.

Deliver and follow up

We show up early, do the tech check, deliver the talk, and stay for the hallway conversation afterward. Slides and notes are shared with the organisers within two business days. We do not collect attendee contacts.

Common questions

Frequently asked questions about hiring an AI speaker.

How far in advance should we book?

Six to twelve weeks is the typical lead time and lets us tailor the talk properly. Three weeks is workable if the format is a panel or fireside chat. Under two weeks we usually say no, the preparation we promise cannot fit, and we will not deliver a stock talk to make the date work.

Will you sell from the stage?

No. The talk is the talk. We do not pitch follow-on engagements from the stage and we do not collect attendee contacts on the way out. If audience members want to follow up, they have our website; that is the entire funnel.

Do you do paid keynotes for conferences, or only for clients?

Both. We accept paid speaking engagements from conferences, industry associations, and corporate events the same way we would any other client booking. The fee is fixed per event, agreed in writing, and named on the intake call.

Can you sit on a panel as the AI voice?

Yes, this is one of the most common formats we deliver. A panel seat is priced lower than a keynote because the prep is lighter, but we still expect to talk to the moderator and the other panelists in advance. We will not show up cold.

What about travel outside Ontario and southeast Michigan?

Possible, but priced separately. Travel within Ontario and southeast Michigan is included in the fee. Anywhere else, the travel cost is added line-item at actual cost, no markup, no day rate for transit days. Remote delivery is always an option and removes the question.

Have a date, a slot, and an audience that needs an honest AI talk?

Send us the event, the format, and the audience profile. We will tell you whether we are the right speaker and what the fee would be.
